PENYULUHAN PENGGUNAAN PUPUK HAYATI MIKORIZA DI KELOMPOK TANI HORTIKULTURA KECAMATAN TANJUNG SARI KABUPATEN SUMEDANG

Along with the decline in crop productivity caused by decreased in soil fertility and disturbance of plant pests, it is necessary to introduce environmentally friendly technologies that can increase crop productivity. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) biological fertilizer is an environmentally friendly technology that needs to be introduced to farmers as a solution. Thus, it is necessary to carry out extension and technical guidance to increase farmers' understanding of the benefits and how to use FMA biological fertilizers. The extension activity was carried out in Pasigaran Tanjungsari Village, Sumedang Regency, West Java with 20 participants from the Bina Jaya Mandiri farmer group. Activities were carried out using the Technology Transfer method through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and practices. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in farmers' understanding and skills about FMA biofertilizers after the participants took part in technical guidance activities. Furthermore, efforts to socialize AMF need to be continued through a more structured program involving authorized institutions in the transfer of agricultural technology in general.
